Hydropower energy is producing energy using storage dams, run of river and pumped storage. Hydropower energy supplies 20 percent of required electricity of the world. Since the water is heated by Sun’s radiation, the water evaporates, then the formed water vapor goes back to the rivers, and the released energy of flowing water can be harnessed by a dam to produce electrical energy.
